Friends of Little Hill (PTA)
A PTA is a great way to bring together parents, teachers and our local community together to raise vital funds and support the school.
Currently, we do not have a running PTA but we do wish to set up a new 'Friends of Little Hill' PTA. This is a more straightforward process than you might think and if you are interested in helping please do get in touch. Together we will decide what we want our association to achieve and then we can formalise our group around that; then we can start fundraising and running other great community activities and events.
Friends of Little Hill were a group of hardworking parents and carers whose primary aim was to raise important funds for the school by holding events and activities throughout the year. They met on a regular basis (usually the first Monday of each month) to discuss organising events such as the Summer and Christmas Fayre and in previous years, Quiz nights, Film nights and Pamper nights. We are open to all suggestions and to develop what we can offer to our school and community as we grow.
Over the years, the PTA funds have help provide the Pirate ship in the KS1 playground, artificial grass for the Foundation play area and ICT resources, to name but a few. A Christmas pantomime is also provided at the end of term using a professional theatre group.
